Personalized postpartum support on Seattle’s eastside and virtually.
Welcome, friend. I’m Katie.
Our website and offerings are currently under construction, but I wanted to take the opportunity to share a little bit about what you’ll find here.
As a postpartum doula, I specialize in client-led, inclusive, and non-judgmental support to individuals and families as you prepare for and navigate the postpartum period -- from the first few days getting to know your newborn, through the traditional first 40 days, and into the weeks and months that follow.
Here’s just a snippet of what I believe about this work:
Our framework for every element of birth work - conception, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, parenthood - is rooted in reproductive justice. Inclusivity and community care are two of our core tenets.
Grief work is a part of birth work. I’m here for it.
The birth you envision is rarely the one you get, but preparation, education, and support are key to navigating the unexpected.
After birth is everything else. How you plan for your postpartum, from preparing with your partner to gathering your village, can define your first steps into parenthood.
This space is for every step in your journey, whether you’re newly pregnant, planning for postpartum, or navigating the grief of infant or pregnancy loss. I’m here for it.
While we work to get our website and offerings up and running, join the blue+poppy community to receive emails and updates.
I’m so glad you’re here, friend.
